Welcome to ChatMBA, operated by Galang Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Description of Service

ApplicantOS is an AI-powered platform designed to assist users with MBA and graduate school applications. The Service provides tools for self-assessment, story development, school research, essay drafting, and interview preparation through specialized AI agents.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your applications
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Share, resell, or redistribute access to the Service

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including essays, stories, and personal information ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Process Your Content to provide the Service's features
  • Store Your Content securely on our systems
  • Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI and Service

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide suggestions, feedback, and draft content. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and edited by you
  • You are responsible for ensuring all application materials you submit represent your own work and voice
  • AI suggestions are not guarantees of admission or success
  • You should comply with all application requirements and honor codes of schools you apply to

6. Payment and Refunds

Pricing: Sprint is a one-time payment of $49 USD (2 weeks access). Round is a one-time payment of $149.99 USD (8 weeks access). Upgrade to Round is $99.99 USD and is available for eligible Sprint buyers.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. To request a refund, contact us at brandongalang@aya.yale.edu.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding Your Content), features, and functionality, is owned by Galang Consulting LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOMES, INCLUDING ADMISSION TO ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GALANG CONSULTING LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Galang Consulting LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
